The duo E&A Rüeger returns for a second release after their EP "Midnight Sun" they released in October 2018. Faithful to their sound universe, the brothers venture into an EP composed of two singular pieces. The track "das Wartezimmer" opens the EP in a down-to-earth context marked by a slight, almost naive melancholy. The synthetic layers and organic textures merge with minimalist percussions that could come straight out from a video game, describing quite well the feeling of a dreamy expectation. As a conclusion, the second track "Ijsberg" emerges from the torpor and slips through deep ambiences and contrasting rhythms, sometimes drawing from the amenbreak register, where slowness becomes powerful. With "das Wartezimmer", E&A Rüeger delicately handles the spaces and emotions of their music to finally offer a rich and brief EP.
